With the new version, the voices no longer work. They are no longer recognized. When checking in the new menu, they are deleted.

Hi Marcel,
Yumpin' Yimminie the Thomas voiceset unzips to SN (Senegal) and not SE (Sweden)!  It does shows up as SE on the options.

Also, Thomas regular copilot set sound like he is under water not in the air ;).  Is this a Danny "improvement"?

Hi,
SN is correct in thin case, it's short for Scandinavia and the folder is intended for Norwegian, Swedish, Finnish and Danish voices.

Hi Marcel lots of voicepaks can't be used for checklists.

Anyway we can add some phraseology to accommodate checklists?

Separate recordings to update would be one idea.

for me they are just fine ... except that as expected, there is a small but growing list of new sound files required to match the evolving / expanding vocabulary being introduced by PATC. All will be known with the next release.

Checklists as before remain problematic. Mave voices could be made with your recorder for checklist requests by the PNF (co-pilot sets) but still it is difficult for a user to record their own or a different accent response set & add them to the chosen PNF (pilot set) given the user is the PF (??).  It is really about PATC having a PF category separate to the current together with a rename of whose who. But then what is the demand for checklists if many use MCE, FS2Crew, Aerosoft etc.

So, I got the zip file. Where do I copy them to? Do I have to copy each folder to the controller voices and pilot voices respectively?

Thanks

Joshua

you can .... or just copy the sound folder into the main PRO_ATC-X folder for a "merge", then tick/untick (on/off) in data/voices if you want the particular voice for a pilot or controller.

Download each sound file you want, one at a time. I usually make a folder with the name of the sound, insert the downloaded zip file in that folder and unzip it. Now you have a folder called sound, with all the sub folders already arranged  in it. Just copy and paste that new sound folder into Pro ATC X main folder, and select overwrite . That's it, everything will wind up in the right place.

Hi Marcel,

I have uploaded my voice set AU (twice) , over the last several months. As I received not acknowledgement of receipt, and thinking it went astray, I recorded a second (better set) and uploaded a second time, again no acknowledgement. I can only assume that you have not received either copies OR they have been rejected. Am I wrong to think that some form of receipt of the files is sent either for them being received or rejected. I only decided to submit the voice sets because of a request for various dialects from this thread and only one set available for AU. Whilst I can appreciate the effort put into the conversion of these files, there is also a lot of time put into recording them as well.

Are you interested in me making a third recording and submitting them?

Steve, I have never received a voice set from you. Could be that you are using the original recorder tool from the pointsoftware site instead of mine (www.mavecreations.weebly.com)? In that case you should ask pointsoftware when it will be processed.
