Extra Voice Sets for Download by MaVe

Hi guys,

Sorry I wasn't active for couple of months.... Thanks for your concerns! Reasons? Just busy with other projects (Virtual Reality stuff etc.) and honestly a bit fed up with the way PATC is proceeding... Great there's a new update, but I don't feel there's any new idea's on voice related stuff, not now, nor in the future, so I feel my wishlist concerning location based and aircraft based voice dialect will probably won't happen or will take a very loooong time. I hope my feeling is wrong.
Also on my wishlist is that the issues in the voices (repeated messages, too short time between call-out and answers, missing "heavy" call-out) eventually will be fixed.
But I promised I would publish your uploaded content, and I don't like to break promises. It's my intention to edit all sets you sent to me, so if you're waiting for your voice set don't worry. Hope Danny (Silkyman) still is available to do the after-effects.
I also can say that we have enough US and UK voices at this moment, and I'm still waiting for all the other dialects.

great to hear from you ..... almost coincident with many of us swapping to P3DV4.

all's well from my perspective with voices & PATC v1879 in general for use with P3DV4 and would you believe, the new UTLive (replacing UT2) behaves "normally" for al_callsign.wav's .... so all my angst changing 200 file names for 20 voices is a thing of the past.

fortunately, i kept the original speedbirds, redwoods etc.

Hi Marcel, apart from the voice recording tool, what's the process to record these 1370 words, do you have a list of words that need to be recorded? I'm interested if you want a Caribbean accent (from Trinidad)?

I'm also waiting for that female voice. Maybe I can get a female Caribbean voice too.

I have a few friends making voice sets using the Sound Recording Tool. But when they try to hit 'Compress and Upload' it pops up a window saying Error Uploading. Any ideas on whats wrong?

effectively it would be to no avail (& i'm sure his "disagreement") .... marcel's original voiceset was for v1720.

v1720 is one of the better v's & which I use from time to time to check more recent version problems.
